We are the owners of FLP Acres in Hampton, NJ. We want to take the opportunity to introduce ourselves and let you know what we are up to. Our hope is to grow our community, to become your friends and to protect this beautiful country and those that dwell in it.
We are educating the community about health and wellness, detoxing practices you can do at home, and informing/educating the public about the challenges we face with current food production and health care injustices. Donna Appel-Sherman
A researcher and administrator by trade, it is Donna’s goal to organize a platform and support others that are dedicated to putting an end to obesity, yoyo dieting and overall poor health through research, science and education. Donna created A Voice For Change as her platform for exposing the facts and the truth along with alternative solutions for issues related to weight loss, nutrients, drugs, food source and food industry standards, disease and other related health and wellness topics.
Donna’s own personal health challenges and her experience with CBD & medical marijuana products, hormone and adrenal balancing and the use of various forms of hCG for detoxification, has resulted in her continued great health and vitality well into her sixties. It is her goal to continue her education in the area of brain science and cellular health in order to further her advantages in remaining a leader in her field of personal health & wellness coaching and education.

Don Sherman
Don Sherman, co-owner of FLP Acres Aquaponics Farm is a licensed professional engineer (civil/environmental), aquatic farmer, and hemp grower. He has over 30 years’ experience in project development and execution for over $20-billion of urban and rural infrastructure across the U.S. and over a dozen countries overseas. Don and his public, private, and philanthropic client projects range from: environmental management of air, water, and waste; transportation on land, air, & water; conventional and renewable energy production & storage; to IT/telecom/broadband networks for communication, facilities management, & security.
Don’s first farm experience was cutting hay in college in Upstate NY. Living in the Midwest, Southeast, and Southwest, he sited and drilled groundwater wells ranging from 100-thousand to 10-million gallons for water supply and irrigation. Throughout his career was involved in planning, designing, and optimizing water supply and zero-discharge biological treatment and reuse system, using the same processes and equipment as the FLP Acres aquaponics system. And whether small or large-scale, virtually every project involved land-use compatibility, environmental stewardship, and energy backup and independence.
Don is available to advise, coach, and train individuals and entrepreneurs looking to build a lifestyle of family and community sustainability and security including food, water, and energy. He can assist with project visioning & feasibility, planning & permitting, design & construction, startup & operations, to renovation & expansion.
